Well, folks July is ending and tomorrow is the first day of August… soon the school will start and the traffic jams starts…*sighs* And summer is quickly fast ending…just a few weeks it was the beginning of summer and suddenly…AUGUST is here!!! Where did the time go?? Well, as for me, today we went for a relaxing day at the beach…we found this nice part of the beach at Sullivan’s Island and it was lovely, sun was blazing hot, but the water was warm and it was high tide….then after that went to Noisy Oyster for the Happy Hour - had some oysters, then wings and for dessert, Strawberry shortcake!! IT just topped off the day and gets me ready for the week coming!! I hope that all of you had a wonderful weekend like i did and not too stressed of a week coming!!
Well, its a fine day today here in South Carolina.. sun is shining and its beach weather!! So, what is everyone is doing today? Here comes another FRIDAY!!! whopppeeee… so hopefully everyone is enjoying the summer, sun and beach!! Cuz i sure am!! It’s beach weather and guess what… going to the beach!!!
Hope everyone had a wonderful week, cuz I had a full days worth of work all week and the weekend just comes at a perfect time to relax and unwind and get ready for another week!!!
Ok everyone, I’ve just gotten another job (part-time) and I start on Monday!!! I can’t wait as this is going to be a challenge (and I do like challenges) and still work full time at my other job….it just means that I get up early in the morning to go to my morning job and then leave there and go straight to my full time job!! How kewl is that!!! Now, let see if I can keep it up…but knowing me, i know i can…as i like both jobs and i like what i do…lets just see how this one goes first…lol
Well, hopefully everyone had a wonderful weekend…my son Adam and I went to see the movie War of the World and it was pretty good then we all went out for drive across the new bridge and just drove around Mt Pleasant, Sullivans Island and went to Fort Moultrie….
One day I will figure out how to put piccies in here…. HONEYyyyyyyyyyy….
After all the hoopla, the new bridge has been opened!! To get one last drive across the old bridges, hubby and I took a drive late in the evening last night to drive across The Silas Pearman Bridge(which opened in 1966) to Mt Pleasant and took pictures of the new bridge from Patriots Point…it was hot and humid, but the new bridge look beautiful with the lights on!! Hubby taped our last drive across and taped another on the way back on the other old bridge, the Grace Bridge which was opened 1929 - I really never liked crossing on this bridge as it felt eeerie and unsafe.. but we drove it and made it across safely!
And so this morning, we woke up and decided to drive across the new Bridge….it was great… its soooooo massive and beautiful, a few days before that, we walked on the bridge and hubby took some great photos. This is truly one of the most beautiful bridges in all of North and South America or the world!!! The name of the new bridge is Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge….

I for one have no sympathy for these maniacs and hope that they are caught soon! I say bury them alive!! To all that I use to work with in London and travels the underground, I hope that everyone are alright….I’ll be praying for those who were hurt or injured and killed…
Our prayers are out to the families of the people that were killed.
Well here it is Saturday, 9th July 2005 - and today the new bridge is open to all to walk across from it and take in the view - unfortunately for me, I am at work - but might go Sunday! Hope everyone is well and just wondering if this blog should stay open… it seems I’m the only yakking away!
