Today, was a quiet day really, got up this morning to go to work, and the streets was deserted whereas, there was no early morning rush as it usually on a Monday, I guess all of you that had the day off, were sleeping in and taking advantage of the beautiful day!! I know I would of if I didn’t have to work, didn’t stay too late, as our friend/neighbor called yesterday to invite us over for a BBQ, burgers, potato salad and beer…we had a nice time and we sort of “catch” up on what’s been happening with our lives and just had fun afternoon/evening…chatting away….we just got home and didn’t even realize that it was this late!! So for all of you Vets, I hope that everyone had a wonderful day with your friends and family. God Bless to all the Vets that is away from home and pray that they all come home safely to their own families…

I am listening to NAB radio and doing a bit of volunteer work for the condominium. Then just chill for the rest of the evening! I hope that all of you will have a fun and safe Memorial weekend!!

I was very much disappointed, but hey, I can find it somewhere else… I wanted to share with you all our song, that we pick or hubby picked when we were first got together…its a beautiful song and the words meant so much… I will try to find it, but the song is from Savage Garden (aussie group) the song is Truly, Madly, Deeply….

Well can’t stay long, need some shut eye, another very long day, but not as long as today was!!

Hello everyone, sorry couldn’t keep you abreast of what is happening around here, but here goes…

Hubby asked if I was interested and doing some DJing last weekend, ask for how long and he said for an hour…so I gave it a go….it was Saturday night, and I was doing a bit of DJing on NAB Radio!!! of course, hubby had to do the “engineering” or technical stuff, I just spoke over the microphone. I tell ya it was exciting and fun really, but after an hour, I was tired and it was 1am (i did go over a bit on my time, I ended my time at 1.30am) and the owner of the station, DJ Russ took over after that! I played mostly fun music that I grew up with and still think they were the best dancing music, some soul music (ok some of you guessed, the Rockin 70’s!!)

I did it again on Sunday, and did only an hour, as I had to get me beauty sleep and now they;re trying to convince to do it regularly. I can’t make a commitment, as of now, as I have too much going on and maybe once in awhile, I might guest DJ for an hour and hopefully all of you out there give us a listen!!

I need to tell you more, but I need to continue this on another day, I have to get to bed, i am really very tired and tomorrow is going to be another very long day!!

Hello!
Here I am again, telling you my story of my life…and how’s it going….well, for starters it was a very long day for me, as you all know. I didn’t get up as early as I would of liked, but anyway, my first day as a full time employee!! It was a long day, as I didn’t get out of there till late (1900) as for those of you, its 7pm EST. I did get a lot done and now that store is fully caught up to date and tomorrow, I will be downtown for the other job, then off to the other store in Summerville to try to get it caught up as well!!

Been helping hubby with some jingles tonight, so if you have a listen to NAB Radio, you just might hear one of the jingles…they’re just starting out another DJ and her nick is MM-DJ…she will be on tonight at midnight, have a listen and tell us what you think…listen here…

Well, would like to write more, but this one needs an early night, she’s got another very long day ahead of her as well….

Hello everyone, I hope that all the Mother’s out there had a wonderful, relaxing day as you all deserved it!! Sitting here, am trying to think of what to say…I have a lot to say but just don’t know how to say it…without sounding like am complaining…lol…as always my day started early and ended late in the evening (9ishp)…made some leftovers for dinner, with stir-fry bok-choy and onions….it wasn’t bad, but you make so when you didn’t prepare nothing in advance….

I feel that I am slowly burning out…working all these jobs…pulled one way and pulled the other way…I hope that this new venture that my cousin sent to me will take off, am trying the samples she sent to me and it sound like a great business idea and it seem that the product sells itself…so using my hubby as testing…oh yes there is products for men, as well as a teen, child, women and babies…I will let you know in a week’s time what the outcome and am sure some of you would like to get in the action.

Its late now, and yes I do have another early start again tomorrow…and its my first day at the job that I got offered full time and still doing the other job, as he has not found anyone to replace me…not sure how long i can keep this up!!

Today is Mother’s Day, I hope that all the mother’s out there will have a wonderful day and enjoy it while it last!

Okay, my day started late, I wanted to have an early start, but didn’t work out, but went in to work, and caught up some things needed my attention, while i was there my son called me to wish me a Happy Mother’s day… that was nice, but didn’t see him or spend any time at all, just called to ask if I made him the appointment for his sport physical (he’s playing football this summer)…so made a note to call the doctor, (couldn’t understand why his Dad couldn’t do it….oh, he lives with his dad)…I guess I can’t complain that at least I got a call and thats it. I am late for his birthday present, as things just tight and he mention that too, so I guess i needed to get him something then he will get me something. I wasn’t going to argue the point. My relationship with my son, is not as it used to be since he’s lived with his dad from when he was 7 yrs old and I was living in England. I guess I need to work on it again, but I have sooooooo many things that I need to do, and I will have to make time to get where we use to be.

Its going to be hard, as he turned 15 last Monday, and I guess some of you can understand that at that age, they feel that they know all and can’t be seen kissing “Mom”….my advise to all Mom’s who has sons…enjoy while you can….I miss all the kisses and cuddles that I use to get my baby and oh, don’t ever say that he’s a baby either!! LOL….

Today, honey bun took me out for dinner at the new restaurant across the street where we lived; its an authentic Mexican restaurant and the food was fantastic….when you see lots of Mexican people eating there….you know the food gotta be good, they also have a “butcher section” where they get the meat when you order and its cooked fresh! If you ever around my area, go and check it out…the restaurant is on Rivers Avenue on the same where the back (SC Federal Credit Union) and its called, La Nortena….prices are middle….its much better than La Hacienda (the other side of Rivers on Shoney side)….I had for dessert, Flan it was lovely!!! I know where to go and get some now..its also homemade!

Good Evening everyone, I hope that y’all had a wonderful, relaxing and fun filled weekend.  As the night draws on, I contiplating as to what I need to do and in talking it over with my husband, I have now made my mind and will counter-offer that was made to me and we will see where go after that. 

My son birthday is tomorrow and he will be 15 yrs old!!! WOW… time sure flies, he’s not here, he went to VA to attend his Uncle’s wedding (his dad brother) and should be home by now, but will give him a call early in the morning on his way to school tomorrow.  He wants a lot for his birthday, but not sure if I can give it to him, might have to give it to him later.

Okay its a celebration for the latin community of Cinco de Mayo… so what’s everyone plan for the festivies??? Well, as for me, a group of us from the community we live are all going out for Thai food and do a bit of bonding and maybe talk “shop”…on how to get our community up to par and get everyone involved. 

On another issue, I just got an offer that sounds just too good, as you all know that I have just taken another job and its going okay and my only thing was that I had to park about 1-2 miles from the work place, as I am not going to pay for Parking…this offer from my other job, is not bad, but it saves me on gas and he is willing to give me an allowance on gas as they have 2 stores that I have to take care of….so, talked it over with hubby, (he crunch numbers for me) and in the end it my decision to make.  I am also want to get our business going, so need to generate more clients….

I guess I have a lot to sleep on and think about it, as I told him that I would give him my decision on Monday, and I do feel bad for the other place, as I do like to work with the guy, but I need to keep an eye for myself!  So I need prayers as to what I need to do and hopefully I will make the right decision!!
