Okay, my techy, hubby found something from another blog in regards to clearing ALL of your “stuff” that really either you don’t’ use or can’t fit into anymore. This particular blog states, that if you just “throw” one thing a day this will give you an incentive to get your house in order! The key to this, is that YOU have to be really discipline to get rid of them. So, since he has started, (yesterday - see his blog) he has gotten rid of 2 things and has done a marvelous job in getting our bedroom patio looking neat!

We are going to do this, as I have a lot of papers about and just need to sort them out in a pile and the rest I can throw out! I think this idea is great…or as hubby calls it, his ‘project’.

Check out hubby blog and let me know what you think. So, let’s all do this and maybe we can get our house in order!

Well, the turkey is all gone (at my house, it is as I didn’t cook this year) but friends might have some a bit of leftovers….got invited to 2 turkey meals, one was from a neighbor who cooked the turkey and I brought the Green Bean Casserole and hubby did the gravy for the mashed potatoes….it all went very well and the i brought home an empty dish! This was lunch and returned to work, went to another friends for another turkey meal, this time they deep fried it and it was yummmy!! So in all, both of us were turkey’d out!! The day after, which was Black Friday - had to work and I was not about to get up at 4am to be the first one in line for the sales. I never really believe in it, as it just another ploy to get $$ from you the retailers. Of course, where I worked, we did take advantage of it, and made sure that the coffee was fresh and ready when they walked in! They=customers…of course…but there were already people camping out at the store front and some of the retailers provided some coffee donuts as well… but in the end it was a good day for ALL businesses.

Its now Sunday morning, as I write this and listening to NAB Radio…and just wanted to let you know how my turkey went. I was not really in a festive mood, but now some stores started the christmas music, I must endure it now until the end of December…I prefer to listen to Christmas, 12 days before Christmas, I’ve not even started to put anything Christmas, I usually did it after turkey, but since most of my family are in the West Coast and my son lives with his Dad, just me and hubby, am not in a rush to do it…

Well we’ve finally finished ALL the building with the exception of 2…but we have done it! Now, the painting is progressing along nicely and the weather getting colder, feel a bit of sympathy to the painters…but its looking real nice here now! Our next step is the Landscaping, we just need someone that will help us with our needs…looking through some bids we have and waiting on one more…

I got the night off tonight, so enjoying and relaxing at home, and getting snugly in my blankie…maybe I get a fire going…yeah…going to do that now…so have a wonderful weekend people and keep listening to NAB Radio - great music, true variety

I know I said I would put more stuff, but its close to midnight and I got another 12 hr day tomorrow and the weekend is fast approaching, and have to work all weekend!! So, just have to wait until tomorrow to put more stuff…to much is happening around here and I just want to “Calgon Take Me Away”!!!!  Have a blessed day everyone! Till then, BE SAFE!

Hello all,

Sorry for being so tardy in keeping up with this blog..the story of me life..eh?

Well, for one, as I type this, I am at work and should be working, but decided to take a few minutes just to keep you guys posted. As you all know that I work a few jobs and just got another one, working part time at the N. Charleston Coliseum parking (for the City of N. Charleston) and its very interesting and I do get to see whatever is the event going on.  So far i’ve been to a soiree with the big wigs of the political world (local really) for the opening of the new Memorial for veterans located here at North Charleston old Navy Station (my old base before they closed it down) and its quite done nicely and i would recommend that everyone come by and take a visit and enjoy the view of the river and watch the ships going in/out….

I have a lot to say, but I guess I could continue this when I get home tonight. Hopefully not too late, as I do need my rest as the weekend will be a busy one!!

Well, the buildings are almost done, we have now 4 buildings completely finished!! And we can picture what the community will look like after the rest of the buildings are done! Its looking really nice and we have taken some pictures of before and after…so this should be an amazing and lots of hard work on the BOD…of course, we have a few that just like to whine, etc…….

So, we should be closing this loan and hoping to save on the repayments for all that concern that didn’t prepay…. so keep praying that we have ENOUGH money to get this building finished.

Until then… keep tuning in and I’ll try to get everyone updated, as with my time is very hectic as it is with working 2 jobs and one of them is on nights… but never fear, I will try to get here and post something!
